1/08/08 - 7:50 PM - Universal Studios Home Entertainment announced the release of Battlestar Galactica: Season Three to DVD on March 18, 2008. With over 15 hours of bonus features across 6 discs, this set will include an extended version of "Unfinished Business" plus over 20 deleted scences, commentaries, and more. This long-awaited set will retail for $59.98 in the U.S.

Sci Fi Channel to Host All-Access Event Featuring the Battlestar Galactica Cast & Creators

5/30/07 - 10:30 PM - The Sci Fi Channel announced that the cast and creators of its award winning television series Battlestar Galactica will be on hand for a special celebration of the epic. The event, scheduled for June 6 at 8:00 p.m. at Los Angeles' Cinerama Dome, is intended for both fans and members of the Academy of the Television Arts & Sciences, various entertainment-related guilds and the Hollywood Foreign Press. The evening will also include an all-access look at the series, featuring the cast and crew, as well as an exclusive sneak peek at the show's upcoming fourth season! Battlestar Galactica Action Figures from Diamond Select Toys Checklist

5/16/07 - 9:45 PM - Diamond Select Toys has announced details on their Battlestar Galactica series 1 action figures. A total of seven figures will be available before the end of the year including 3 regular case figures and 4 retailer exclusives. The regular case assortment includes Lee "Apollo" Adama in Viper Pilot Flight suit, Red Dress Number Six and the short-packed Brendan "Hot Dog" Costanza. Caprica Six will be a Previews exclusive, Chief Galen Tyrol will be a Diamond Select Toys exclusive, Karl "Helo" Agathon will be a Action Figure Xpress exclusive and Samuel T. Rubie's Announces New Battlestar Galactica Costume Line for 2007

1/4/07 - 8:00 PM - Rubie's Costume Company announced they will be producing costumes from the new Battlestar Galactica TV series. Targeting teenagers and adults, their initial line for 2007 will include a Cylon Mask in two styles (Overhead and 3/4) along with Starbuck and Apollo costumes (shirt, pants & necklace).  We'll have more details, including pricing, when available.

Cylon Centurion Titanium Figure Due in Stores in Time for Christmas

9/26/06 - 08:58 PM - Courtesy of the September 22nd Hasbro Q&A found on SWCollector.com, the first 3 3/4 inch scale Titanium figure from the world of Galactica is due in stores this December. The Cylon Centurion is the first figure in the popular Titanium line after six 3" scale vehicles and one Titanium Ultra vehicle (Battlestar Galactica). Plans for additional toys based on both the new and old shows are in the works for 2007. We'll have the details here as soon as they are available.

Scheduled to appear are many guests from the hit Sci Fi Channel TV series including Tricia Helfer ("Number Six"), James Callis ("Gaius Baltar") and Ronald D. Moore on Saturday. Sunday's lineup includes Jamie Bamber ("Captain Lee Adama / Apollo"), Aaron Douglas (Chief Galen Tyrol) and Tahmoh Penikett ("Karl Agathon / Helo"). Wave 2 Battlestar Galactica Titanium Found

8/19/06 - 12:21 AM - Wave 2 Titanium 3" vehicles have been found in stores. I have heard of these being found at Wal-Marts on both coasts (in South Carolina & Northern California). Wave 2 includes Colonial One, Colonial Viper Mark VII & Colonial Raptor.

 

9/26/07 - 8:41 PM - The Sci Fi Channel announced that Battlestar Galactica: Razor will air on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 8:00 EST. While Razor will be originally shown on television, an unrated extended edition will release on DVD just 10 days later on December 4, 2007. Still no word yet on a DVD release date for Season Three of Battlestar Galactica.
